Fishing at Cedarock Park
Bank fishing opportunities are available at the park’s pond and along Rock Creek. The main pond is stocked with catfish and bream year-round, and trout in the winter months.
Each adult (16 years and older) must have a valid NC Fishing License to fish in the park. To support the cost of stocking the ponds, we also require a Cedarock Park Fishing Pass. Daily passes are $5 and annual passes are $35. There is a total catch limit of six fish per day, per pass. The daily catch limit for trout is 4 fish. No catch & release of trout. Trout Dates For 2025:
Saturday & Sunday, December 20-21:
Season Opens for Youth Ages 15 & Under
Monday, December 22: Season Opens for All Ages
Please carry both your license and pass with you when you fish.
